PSYT runs an exciting internship programme specific to Psychology Graduates with two key intakes each year (although sometimes timings and intake numbers may vary). We are always on the look-out for proactive psychology graduates to join our team and who are genuinely interested in being part of helping improve wellbeing through technology. You will get the chance to be involved in varied aspects of the business: from product development and testing; research (business and project specific); to writing content; project managing the deliverables; supporting sales and new business; managing product improvement cycles and user feedback.

CTO George leads on the measurement side, having mapped the nation’s wellbeing with the Mappiness app. Our experience sampling methodology (ESM) platform has been used by over 100,000 individuals and counting, and our award winning research apps often get featured widely in the press. CEO Nick leads on interventions, as the former Head of Research for successful mindfulness app Headspace. Earlier this year, our mindfulness app ‘Rebalance with Mindfulness’ was featured on the app store as a ‘New App Apple Loves.’ We are also about to launch an exciting new app as part of a partnership with a leading global media agency.



We’re looking for a candidate who is process driven, has a great attention to detail and is willing to turn their hand to any task.

You will have recently completed a degreein psychology and interested in exploring your skills set through a career working in a wellbeing start-up.


The non-negotiables:

  • An organised and self-motivated individual

  • Based in London, and have the right to work in the UK

  • BSc/MSc degree in Psychology or related (2:1 or above)

  • Can write compelling psychology content for the public e.g. Psychology Today style

  • Diligence and ability to learn quickly

  • Flexible and proactive, eager to apply your skills to different types of tasks

  • Excited by PSYT’s mission, and genuinely care about improving wellbeing

  • Feel comfortable working with numbers and excel charts (a good score in a statistics course would be useful)

Highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of mental and physical wellbeing, including impact of exercise and mindfulness

  • Keen interest in organisational psychology

  • Some knowledge of mindfulness techniques or have practiced meditation yourself

  • Confident using Microsoft Office

  • Previous work experience in project management or research
