ROLI is looking for a full-cycle Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Transactional Manager with substantial supervisory experience to join our growing Finance Team for a 6 month contract. You will be responsible for day to day communications with vendors and the ROLI team as well as organising regular follow ups with customers to ensure prompt payment.

What you’ll do:

  • Own our full-cycle Accounts Payable, including: day to day communication with vendors and employees, ensure proper approvals and documentation for all invoices, prompt resolution of discrepancies, General Ledger account coding
  • Be responsible for posting credit card transactions to General Ledger and reconciling with monthly statements
  • Own our full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including: tracking customer contract terms to ensure timely and accurate billing, generating/distributing all invoices, regular follow-up with customers to ensure prompt payment, escalation of collection issues as necessary
  • Manage supplier statement reconciliations
  • Manage ROLI’s bank reconciliations
  • Support the month-end close process, including AP and payroll accrual calculations
  • Process employee expense reimbursements
  • Reconcile petty cash
  • Assist with tax filings
  • Assist with other accounting and ad-hoc projects as needed

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience as a Transactional Manager, preferably in the hardware, software, and/or technology sectors
  • A proven track record owning full-cycle AP / AR
  • High proficiency in accounting software, Word, Excel, Google Drive, etc.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English
  • Superb and demonstrable time-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Deeply comfortable working with and integrating into a tight-knit team
  • A passion for music, technology and/or startups

Bonus points:

  • Experience with using NetSuite, or a similar ERP system
