We are looking for an organisational psychology intern to help further support and develop our real-time culture and wellbeing tool www.seedrs.com/me-mybest. The technology has already been developed and is based on the highly successful research project, Mappiness (www.mappiness.org.uk). The tool allows for accurate, real-time, dynamic measurement of psychological variables that we feel will revolutionise the way mental capital is valued and managed in organisations.

Your job will primarily be to help us develop further content to help people be at their best at work and to help identify the factor that most impact organsiational and individual wellbeing from our dataset.

A small collective with amazing commercial and academic track records. Key areas of existing expertise include finance, psychology, technology, app design and entrepreneurship. CTO George leads on the measurement side, having mapped the nation’s wellbeing with the Mappiness app (http://mappiness.org.uk). CEO Nick leads on interventions, as the former Head of Research for successful mindfulness app Headspace (http://www.getsomeheadspace.com).

We’re a start-up creating technology to measure and enhance psychological states in organisations and individuals. Our apps quantify cognitive and psychological states, such as attention or happiness, as well as guiding users through exercises, such as mindfulness meditations, which research has shown to reduce stress and improve performance. See www.psyt.co.uk.

You will have a psychology degree, ideally in business/organisational psychology but straight psychology is fine as long as you took an organisational psychology module. The more knowledge you’ve picked up on psychometrics and questionnaire measurement, the better. If your dissertation was related to organisational psychology that would be fantastic.  You are flexible, like to be hands-on, enjoy writing and like learning about new topics.
